Introduction to Landscape and Travel Photography
|
This workshop offers
you the opportunity to learn new skills or improve on existing
skills with your camera. The course is presented in the form of
illustrated lectures, practical workshops, and assignments on
location. Notes and handouts accompany each major topic in
the course, with lots of scope for questions and discussion. You
will be taken to a variety of landscape locations so that you
can put your new skills and techniques into practice straight
away, with help and advice always close at hand. The main
topics covered include Landscape Interpretation, Exposure,
Composition, Light in the Landscape and sections on
equipment, digital imaging and as many other subjects as time
permits. |

You can choose either a one
day or two day workshop.
The one day workshop runs from 9am to 6pm and covers the major topics
outlined above with visits to appropriate photographic locations and
includes lunch.
The two day workshop runs from 9am on the first day to 6pm on the
second day and includes lunch and dinner on the first day, overnight
accommodation, and breakfast and lunch on the second day. This
workshop covers all the topics outlined above, with the opportunity to
spend more time in a wider variety of photographic locations.
Your existing camera equipment will probably serve you well for this
workshop, whether it's a compact, SLR, film or digital. Make sure
that your batteries are fresh or well charged and if you own a tripod,
bring that too. If you're using digital remember to bring your memory
card and camera leads for downloading. If you're using film, you
should bring along at least two rolls of 36 exposure per day. |
